Music Festival

Many of the events are 'al fresco'.   A must for all music lovers.

Royal Regatta.

The town and river are bustling with activity, the 2nd largest Regatta in England, after Cowes.

Shakespeare Week.

31st July to 4th August. The Inn Theatre Company presents its open air production of

Midsummer Nights Dream

New Year's Eve Celebrations  

29th December to 31st December    (Three nights minimum stay. Please refer to room tariff)

      Two nights standard breakfast menu plus New Year's Day brunch (11.00am - 12 noon) including Bucks Fizz

      On New Year's Eve the streets are awash with party revellers.  Fancy Dress a must!!

Dartmouth Players - The Diary of Anne Frank
Born on June 12th, 1929, Anne Frank was a Jewish girl in her teens when she was forced to go into hiding for 25 months during the Holocaust. Her diary was first published in 1947. Performance held in The Flavel.

Dartmouth Comedy Weekend
Join us in Dartmouth for the first ever Dartmouth Comedy Festival - three days of comedy centred at The Flavel. There will also be family workshops for budding comedians and open- mike sessions. Programmes £1 available from TIC, The Flavel, and other venues - The Windjammer, The Royal Caastle and Wildfire Bistro. Should be a laugh!!

Dartmout Gig Club Regatta
One of the first regattas of the season - gigs come from all over the West Country to race in the Dart. Good viewing for spectators from the Embankment down by the Yacht Club.

Opens 1200 hrs at The Malsters Arms, Tuckenhay, to benefit RNLI and Chernobyl Childrens Project.

Held at Westpoint this is a fantastic county agricultural show with hundreds of demonstrations and stalls to enjoy.

Dart Music Festival
Thinking of visiting Dartmouth in the Spring? Come for the weekend of 18,19,20 May and become a part of Dartmouth's Musical Festival 10th Year Celebrations. The Festival Motto is 'Music for All', this year it will include all three internationally renowned Fujita sisters for "A Celebration of Virtuosity" recital. Also already booked is 'Carmina' a band from Ireland, whose soulful and sophisticated music draws on contemporary and traditional sources with jazz improvisations. And, of coure, a vast variety of musical experiences will again be on offer including blues, choral, bands, jazz, contemporary and classical, opera, groups and soloists. Last year's Festival crammed over 100 high quality events into two and a half packed days, in all sorts of inside and outside venues - there truly is something for everyone. Classic Channel Regatta
DARTMOUTH CLASSICS Dartmouth Classics will be held over the weekend of Friday June 29th – Sunday July 1st.. There will be racing in Start Bay off Dartmouth on Saturday and Sunday before the start of the Classic Channel Race to St Malo on Monday July 2nd. In addition to the main regatta fleet, Dartmouth Classics will also offer racing for working boats, old gaffers and smaller classics which may not be eligible to compete in the Classic Channel Race. Dartmouth Classics will again be hosted by the Royal Dart Yacht Club and a full programme of social events is being planned at both the RDYC clubhouse and the Old Market Square. The Dart Harbour Authority are again very kindly waiving mooring fees over the weekend for competitors. All boats and crews are assured of a very warm welcome at the beautiful port of Dartmouth.
